Antique, Wedgwood Etruria porcelain teapot with a lovely, floral transfer design and a hand-painted, rosebud finial! The spout, rims, and handle also have hand-painted accents. The teapot holds 26 fl oz., and the spout has an inner strainer. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The Wedgwood Etruria England mark on the bottom along with the incised "E" dates this piece to 1902.
The Etruria Works was the ceramics factory opened by Josiah Wedgwood in 1769 in a district of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. The factory ran for 180 years as part of the wider Wedgwood business.
