Fire safety blanket for use on electric, hybrid, petrol and diesel vehicles. Designed for quick deployment on any vehicle as an effective method to contain flames, smoke and toxic fumes. Suitable for isolating and extinguishing high temperature fires produced from EV car batteries. Effectively starves oxygen to control self-oxygenating EV battery fires and prevents damage of thermal runaway and toxic fumes. Manufactured from high performance fibreglass fabric with silicone coating and high-grade stitching to withstand direct continuous temperatures up to 500°C. Ideal for areas with high concentrations of cars such as car parks, garages, ferries, breakdown situations and controls risk of damage to surrounding infrastructure and other vehicles. Supplied in durable waterproof storage bag with straps for easy transportation and storage. Designed for single use. Once in position, the blanket should not be removed until emergency services have assessed the situation.
